Knight to remember
IT was certainly a match to remember when the Lewis Group brought together ice hockey giants, the Sheffield Steelers, with rugby sporting heroes, the Doncaster Knights.
However, it wasn't for some bizarre clash of the sports. The Steelers were there to cheer on the efforts of the Knights as they took on the Exeter Chiefs at Doncaster's Castle Park.
As sponsors of both the Knights and the Steelers, the Lewis Group invited along the ice hockey players to watch the big rugby showdown.
"The Steelers and the Knights are two of Yorkshire's most successful sporting teams and it was a good opportunity to bring them together," said Amy Copcutt of the bespoke property development group. "The Knights won the encounter 24 to 11 and so it was a great match for the Steelers to go along to."
The Lewis Group sponsor Steelers' player Brett Clouthier and also support the Sheffield-based cheerleaders, Steelerettes.
